Trees Adventure is an unforgettable zip-trek and tree-top obstacle course through the sublime rainforest of The Dandenong Ranges, on the outskirts of Melbourne.
Participants soar through the forest on giant flying foxes and take on the dizzying array of 65 aerial challenges. The level of difficulty ranges from green courses (beginners and kids 4m), blue and red (young teens to adults, 12m), to the advanced black diamond run (older teens and adults, 15m) which includes the giant aerial skateboard and the 100m flying fox. Sessions are two hours.
Safety equipment is state-of-the-art German engineering and ensures participants are continuously attached to a safety line. The park is located just a short walk from Puffing Billy and the Metro Station at Belgrave.
The park is located in an expansive heritage garden and along the beautiful rain forest environs of Clematis Creek. There are towering 75m tall Mountain Ash that make up part of the course, as well as an expansive heritage listed Algerian Oak and Victoria's only two mature Japanese Oaks. Gaze at Californian Redwoods, the Douglas Firs and try to spot the rare Himalayan Lily. Participants on the intermediate courses can peer into the home of Blanche the Possum, kookaburras abound and sing across the park, while a fortunate few occasionally catch sight of the rare magnificent Powerful Owls.
Trees Adventure is a thrilling adventure and the brain child of French rock climber Nic Dansin. Positions in the trees are restricted to maintain the beauty of the surrounds and bookings are advised.
