Kellybrook Winery and Restaurant

Fulford Rd

About This Attraction

Kellybrook produces a range of award-winning wines and ciders. On the fringe of Melbourne's eastern suburbs, it feels like a world away from the busy pace of urban life. Set in a secluded little valley, its rolling hills provide a very pretty backdrop to the vineyard and give a real sense of peace. Established in the 1970's by Yarra Valley wine pioneers, Darren and Farley Kelly, Kellybrook is one of the few wineries in the valley to still be owned and managed by the original family. The second generation has been greatly involved for many years now, including Darren and Farley's son, Phil Kelly, who is the wine and cider maker. Tastings and sales are conducted by the winemakers in the barrel room on a daily basis, providing a very authentic experience. Set amongst lush vineyard and beautiful gardens, the restaurant offers the perfect setting for a la carte dining as well as group bookings, including weddings. An exquisite menu is accompanied by Kellybrook estate-grown wines and ciders. After lunch or your wine tasting, wander up to the "garden path" to the magnificent 120-year-old, heritage-listed golden oak tree. An ideal first or last stop when travelling to the Yarra Valley from Melbourne. Kellybrook's 24th Cider Festival - Saturday 5 May and Sunday 6 May (11am-5pm) Cider bar, great bands on the oak tree lawn, Morris dancers, farmhouse fare, children's entertainment, cider-making talks and more. See the event listing for more information. Weddings are one of their specialties. Up to 120 people. Ceremony under our grand 120 year old heritage-listed oak tree. Pre-dinner drinks on the vine-covered terrace overlooking the vineyard and gardens. Reception in the intimate restaurant.
