We use a professional cleaning service and all surfaces in the apartment are thoroughly disinfected before and after each stay. Twenty years ago you'd have sworn this inner-north 'burb could never be gentrified, but these days it's a slightly grungy strip of inventive bars, geek girl boutiques and envelope-pushing eateries of every description. Collingwood is one of Melbourne's hippest neighborhoods and its blue-collar origins are evident in its workers’ cottages and converted warehouses, which today house offices, galleries, cafes and quirky shops. The area is a hub for Melbourne’s music scene, with venues like the Tote Hotel staging regular punk and indie gigs. Smith Street is packed with lively restaurants and bars, as well as vintage stores.
