About this property
Our comfortable family home consists of 3 bedrooms 2 bathrooms in the leafy eastern suburbs opposite Jubilee Park. Close to Eastland shopping centre, 2min walk to the bus stop and close to public transport 2 minutes from Eastlink freeway.
We are a two-minute walk to the nearest bus stop, for the 901 Frankston- Airport bus that also takes you to Ringwood station, from where you can catch a train into the city. This takes about 40min off-peak or less time during morning peak with express trains. If you have a hire car, you can drive on Eastlink tollway/ Eastern freeway to the city in only 30 minutes. If you would prefer to catch a train into the city there is ample parking at Ringwood station. Eastland shopping centre is on the bus route which is ideal for all your shopping needs good restaurants and Hoyts cinema complex.
Aquanation, the new $52 million swimming pool and gym complex is just a short walk away. There is a 50m lap pool, a hydro pool, kids play fun and play pool as well as water slides.
The living space
The three bedrooms consist of 2 queen size beds(electric blanket on beds) and 2 single beds in the other bedroom. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need; bathrooms have been renovated towels are supplied, so you only need to bring your own personal items. Comes with a good size backyard for kids to enjoy.
We hope that you enjoy your stay at our non-smoking house (please smoke outdoors); we take great pride in ensuring that the property is clean and comfortable. Our only request is that you are respectful of our belongings and leave the property in the same way you found it to avoid extra cleaning fees. The property has an open fireplace (cleaning fees apply). NO PETS ALLOWED.
The neighbourhood
Our house is located close to the city yet far enough to be close to the Yarra Valley wine region and the Dandenong Ranges National Park; an area famous for its several short walks, including the very popular 1000 Steps. This is part of the Kokoda Memorial Track. We are also a short drive away from Sky High, Mt Dandenong, a place that has amazing views over Melbourne from the highest point in the Dandenongs. Healesville Sanctuary is a popular destination for viewing Australian wildlife in its natural surroundings. Shopping has just been upgraded to a fantastic new experience with the redevelopment of Eastland shopping centre. Not only do you find the stalwarts like Coles, Woolworths, Myer, Target Big W but now also David Jones, H&M, Uniqlo, boutique shops, restaurants and cafes.
