The Neighborhood:
Oakleigh is a small suburb about 14 kilometres from the Melbourne CBD. It’s well-connected to the city and surrounding neighbourhoods via trains from Oakleigh Station and numerous bus lines. You’ll also find an array of dining and shopping options around the train station, including the Oakleigh Central shopping mall and Oakleigh Rotary Sunday Market. On weekends, locals usually flock to the various parks around the neighbourhood and the Oakleigh Recreation Centre.

The Oakleigh train station is about one kilometre away and has regular services to the Melbourne CBD in about 25 minutes. There are bus stops along Atherton Road with multiple lines servicing the surrounding suburbs and city centre.
