The Neighborhood:
Richmond is a multicultural suburb about four kilometres from Melbourne’s CBD. It’s very popular among shoppers who frequent the budget-friendly factory outlets and designer stores along Bridge Road. Melbourne’s rich history flows throughout Richmond, from the 19th-century hotels-cum-bars to the memorial parks. Victoria Street has been dubbed “Little Saigon” for its Asian eateries, while the neighbouring Yarra River offers waterside parks.

Public transport
The West Richmond train station is 750 metres away and has trains into the CBD in about 10 minutes. The Bosisto Street/Bridge Road tram station is right outside the building and has trams into the CBD in around 15 minutes. There are also bus stops along Hoddle Street and Cromwell Street.

Ride sharing
Ride sharing apps are a safe and easy way to get around, especially late at night when public transport services are less frequent. Prices are about two-thirds of a taxi, but may surge during bad weather or public events.
