Two acres of English country gardens and meadow nestle amongst a huge variety of beautiful century old trees. The Cottages are within easy walking distance of Sassafras Village and Sherbrooke Forest where you can see the lyrebirds foraging happily.
Clarendon's luxury guest accommodation consists of two charming one bedroom cottages and a two bedroom cottage in a secluded, peaceful and romantic setting.
Gas log fires, spas, fully equipped kitchens with dishwashers and private decks are just some of the many features of our Stables and Camellia Cottages. Our 'petite suite' Dovecote Cottage doesn't have a spa, kitchen or fireplace but just oozes cosiness and is perfect for a single traveller or budget conscious couple looking for a short stay. Country tranquility gives you a peaceful and relaxed sleep, awakening to the sound of the birds.
Generous breakfast provisions such as cereals, milk, bacon, eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms, juices, fresh country bread, jams and butters are provided for the first 2 mornings of your stay as well as complimentary fruit, biscuits and port and chocolates.
CAMELLIA COTTAGE - The Perfect Romantic Haven!
Featured here is our recently renovated Camellia Cottage. It is a cosy one bedroom cottage, self-contained, completely private and very romantic!
Upstairs there is a gas log fire and two large armchairs to relax with a book or a wine. The luxurious queen size iron bed is fitted with an electric blanket. There is also a beautiful bathroom with double spa. Down a few stairs there is a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and a dining area with large picture window overlooking the garden and a private external deck with BBQ.
The cottage also has reverse cycle air conditioning and includes an iPod/iPhone/iPad docking station and large LCDTV, DVD and NETFLIX for your entertainment. There is free WiFi also.

11 Clarkmont Road, Sassafras is located just off the Mount Dandenong Tourist Road within easy walking distance of the popular Sassafras Village, the home of Miss Marples Teahouse & Sherbrooke Forest, the home of the Lyrebirds and close to the excellent shopping, cafes and restaurants of Olinda & Mt Dandenong Villages.
The Dandenong Ranges are centrally located to the Yarra Valley Wineries, Phillip Island and the Melbourne CBD and just 60 minutes drive from the Melbourne International Airport or 45 minutes from Melbourne CBD.
